I worked with him on many mastering & recordings in my studio He is one of the best I ever worked with in the studio.

The only person I know who does what he does to keep the Jewish Music Alive.

Enjoyed Immensely working with him on a special Recording , Songs Never Forgotten, from the holocaust.

Wish there were many more people like him in this world it would be a SUPER HEAVEN ON EARTH.

I worked for Velvel in the late 70″s and came to know that basement intimately. This article barely does justice to his love of and appreciation for traditional Jewish music. In addition to his erudition and vast knowledge of the music world, he tells stories about how he came to find many of the pieces that are both hilarious yet filled with love and respect for the protaganists. I’m always proud to say I know and worked for him.
