Prus is the first to print Jewish jumbo hardcover books that stand at almost 2 ft. tall. Her dream was to create material that educates with intrigue and captivates the audience. The Holiday series brings the complete story of Chanukah and Purim to life with beautiful, realistic illustrations. “There are not many factories that print hardcover Jumbo books. I am lucky to have found one.”
There is a tremendous need for quality educational materials and Prus has received excellent feedback from her Purim Big Book co-authored with Shoshana Lepon. If you haven’t used a big book yet, Prus encourages you to try it and discover its magic.
“I just wanted to let you know that I used the big Purim book for our kid’s program. Children and adults alike were totally enthralled! No one said a word during the reading. I can’t tell you how the adults were totally spellbound, as much, if not more than, the kids. The illustrations are beyond, the writing is captivating,” said Rivky Goldman of Waterloo, England.
This encouraged Prus to reformat the book into a silent animation to be used simultaneously during Megillah reading. “It is often a challenge to get the children, and even the adults, to listen to the Megillah reading. The Purim Book Animated is a great solution. It takes the Purim book to a whole new level,” says Prus.

Many shluchos have reached out to translate it into foreign languages. So far she has created the animation in French and Spanish and translators are working on more languages to help shluchim worldwide.
“It didn’t occur to me to do it in any language other than English. I was so relieved to be finished with the tedious work of creating the animation. Yet when the English was completed it dawned on me that perhaps it can be useful in other languages. And then the requests came pouring in, and I went right back to work.
“I read the Spanish translation and you did a great job. It’s amazing. I am so excited to use it and so happy to have something of QUALITY to give my students,” raved Bracha Gold of Panama.
Due to many requests, Prus’s books are now available in regular size as well. The regular size Purim Book is a new release for Purim 5780/2020. The book is dedicated l’ilui nishmas Prus’s father, Yakov Baruch Gansburg ob”m, who passed away last year.
