The IDF on Motzei Shabbos announced the deaths of six more soldiers who fell in the Gaza Strip, raising the death toll of soldiers killed in Gaza to 57.
The soldiers are:
Major David (Dudi) Digmi, 43 years old, Rishon Lezion, a paramedic in the Southern Brigade, in the Gaza Division, fell on 07/11.
Sergeant Shlomo Gurtovnik, 21 years old, from Modi’in-Maccabim-Reut, a combat medic in the 46th Battalion, 401st Brigade (‘Iron Track Design’), fell in battle in the Gaza Strip.
Capt. Eden Provisor, 21 years old, Malefi Menashe, platoon commander in the 52nd Battalion, 401st Brigade (‘Iron Track Design’), fell in battle in the Gaza Strip.
Sgt. Adi Malik Harb, 19 years old, from Beit Jen, a fighter in the Nahal Patrol, the Nahal Brigade, fell in battle in the Gaza Strip.
Sergeant Shachar Fridman, 21 years old, from Jerusalem, a fighter in the 101st Battalion, Parachute Brigade, fell in battle in the Gaza Strip.
Major Jamal Abbas, 23 years old, from Paki’in, company commander in the 101st Battalion, Parachute Brigade, fell in battle in the Gaza Strip.
On Thursday, four reservists from the 6863 Battalion, 12th Brigade, were seriously injured during the fighting in the northern Gaza Strip.
In addition, a combat officer in the 17th Battalion, Bislah, was seriously injured in the fighting in the north of the Gaza Strip yesterday (Friday).
Also, in the battle in which the late Sergeant Shlomo Gortovnik fell, a fighter from the 46th Battalion was seriously injured.
In the battle in which the late Captain Aden Probizor fell, a fighter from the 52nd Battalion was seriously injured.
The fighters were evacuated for medical treatment and their families were informed.

Our brave IDF soldiers are lions, fighting for us against the most evil of enemies. Our political leaders in Israel need to take the Rebbe’s approach and be lions as well. Otherwise, they should pack their bags and go home, and let others lead.
