Despite snow and cold weather, over 200 bochurim gathered in the early morning hours on Tuesday to recite Tehillim together to pray for the success of a hearing to take place today in Washington, DC regarding the Chabad Seforim case.
The bochurim were heeding the call of West Coast Head Shliach Rabbi Shlomo Cunin, who implored Chabad around the world to “Ker a velt,” and add in Torah, Tefillah and Tzedakah in light of the court case.
Dozens of bochurim gathered at the Rebbe’s Ohel in Queens, New Haven Mesivta, and other locations.
A gathering is planned for Brunoy Yeshiva later today as well, COLlive was told.
In a video message on Monday, Rabbi Cunin implores, “I ask, that in these days, each one of you increase in Torah, Tefillah, Tzedaka and in saying Tehillim; to ask and plead from Hashem – that finally all the holy Seforim, manuscripts and articles be immediately be returned to 770, Beis Rabbeinu Shebebavel. And along with the redemption of the Seforim, we will have – as the Rebbe promised – the redemption of each and every Yid.”
I can’t find much information about this online what’s the name of the case?
