Shmulik Kravitzky, a travel agent from Crown Heights, contracted coronavirus 6 months ago, and was in serious condition in the ICU.
He has since recovered, but still suffers from the effects, and is still in rehab to help him get back his strength.
With concerns about recurring infection and a recent uptick of illness in the neighborhood, the father and grandfather was terrified of spending holiday meals with family and friends, but dreaded another isolated holiday.
And then, a photo he saw gave him a great idea how he can spend Yom Tov with others, without wearing a mask and still remaining safe.
