Forgiveness – between man and man and between man and G-d – is one of the central components during the ten days between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. An entire section in Shulchan Aruch in the laws of Erev Yom Kippur is dedicated to forgiving and asking for forgiveness. Why is forgiveness so important for our lives? Do we have to forgive?
