Dear Friend,
On the 22nd day of Tevet 5771, Harav Menachem Zev Halevi Greenglass (Reb Volf) passed on leaving us empty of his presence, but at least wealthy with fond memories of his inspiration.
He taught Chassidus for over 70 years of his life, inspired over 3 generations of students and always left a G-d fearing impression on everyone he met.
On the 22nd day of Tevat 5772, the 16th day of January, will be his first yahrzeit memorial ceremony.
At this auspicious time, we will conduct an inauguration of the new Sefer Torah that was started at his Shloshim. A Siyum Mishnayos will also take place, in the presence of prominent rabbis of the greater Montreal community.
Everyone is welcome to write a letter with the help of the sofer (scribe).
The event will take place in the Spanish & Portuguese Shul, 4894 S. Kevin, Montreal at 6:30 p.m.
Please take part in this Sefer Torah honoring a man who dedicated his life for the Lubavitcher Rebbes, for Chassidus, for the education and guidance of young Chassidic Rabbis. He was and always will be a pillar of Montreal Jewry.
