As he was going on Mivtzoim on the last day of Chanukah, Lubavitcher Menachem Ladayov decided to go visit some friends in their office in Paris.
Upon his arrival in the office, his friends told him they had a surprise for him.
To his amazement, the “surprise” turned out to be a man dressed as Santa Claus.
“I was a little shocked for a few seconds,” said Ladayov, “but then I realized it was no coincidence that I found myself facing a man dressed as Santa Claus during Chanukah.”
Ladayov approached him and asked, “Are you Jewish?” to which the man replied with a strong Russian accent: “My maternal grandmother was Jewish.”
Menachem explained that this meant he is Jewish too, and taught him the importance of Teffilin. He agreed to put them on, and in a few minutes he had removed his costume in order to put on Teffilin, repeating the Shema Israel for the first time in his life.
wow that is nice keep up the good work
Who said it wasn’t a beautiful thing !

However, he followed the Rebbe’s instructions, and it was found that the parshiyos were inserted the wrong way!
Absolutely amazing! Moshiach now!!!
literally brought tears to my eyes

Can you drop off reading material in the same spot(s) frequently, like a doctor’s office or stores? If there are no Yidden in your area, can you figure out a way to use the internet? In Brooklyn there are actually ladies who stand outside in the same spot every week, and their “regulars” come to them to discuss Yiddishkeit! Let’s go beyond reminiscing… Read more »
Great Mitzvah but the Tefillin are on his forehead not on his head. We must be more makpid on this detail.
Hatzlocha Rabb

2# 3-4 Maybe the strap was too big
beautiful however whoever is reading this please be careful next time that the tefillin should be above the hairline because then it will be even more beautiful
Nice accomplishment, but another Shel Rosh that needs a boost- get it on the Head, not Forehead please…
