The Ohel Chabad Lubavitch has arranged to provide affordable food for the large crowds which are visiting the Rebbe’s Ohel in Queens on Sunday, Gimmel Tammuz.
Holesome Bagels, the popular bagel shop on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights, has opened a one-day pop up shop near the Ohel in conjunction with the Ohel’s management.
“We worked to provide a selection of nice food for visitors, to improve the experience of coming to the Rebbe’s Ohel,” a representative of the Ohel told COLlive.com “The delicious and fresh food is available at Crown Heights level prices or lower, so that people can afford to grab something to eat. Sometimes a cookie isn’t enough,” he said.
Located in a home a few doors down from Ohel Chabad Lubavitch, at 22608 Francis Lewis Blvd, a video shared of the ‘refreshment spot’ shows a selection of bagel sandwiches such as tuna, butter, lox and cream cheese, and their famous potato bagels. Also seen are a variety of wraps, fresh salads, pastries and cold drinks.
Tens of thousands of people from all walks of life and from around the world are expected to visit the Ohel throughout the day today, the Rebbe’s 31st Yartzeit.

Very smart, we love their food!
