Hi Boys and Girls! Welcome back to “History’s Heroes” where we learn about our favorite Jewish Heroes and craft, paint, or experiment, along the way!
Highlight: Chana Hanevia
Chana Haneviah is often referred to as the mother of modern-day Tefillah. Prior to her, the primary way to connect with Hashem was through the offering of Karbanos. This shift in practice led to Chana becoming the mother of Shmuel Hanavi, who is considered one of the greatest Nevi’im of all time. Chana herself was a Neviah and received a nevuah about the coming of Moshiach.
Chana taught us that davening quietly takes our tefillos directly to Hashem. So, get ready to simulate a rocket that catapults into the heavens! This science experiment is quite fascinating. When water dissolves the Alka-Seltzer tablet, carbon dioxide gas is released, creating pressure in the canister that sends the “rocket” soaring upwards.
Please join our contest, where we raffle off 2 Tickets to the Jewish Children’s Museum, when a completed project (picture or video) is sent to [email protected] . Hatzlacha J
