High Spirits Despite Weather

Camp Gan Israel in Brazil recently celebrated 30 years of fun-filled Jewish education and experiences since it was founded by Shliach Rabbi Dovid Weitman.

Over the years the camp developed into 5 specialized programs held simultaneously this past December and January: Gan Isroel, Pardes Channa, Yeshiva Camp and Pioneers.
The Head Counselors were:

Over 300 children have attended the camp programs this summer season in Brazil.

Despite bad weather with heavy rains and flooding in Brazil, camp spirits did not deteriorate and learning, davening and games continued with even greater zeal.
