In honor of Gimmel Tammuz, High School girls in Melbourne gathered for an event in Chabad Youth (the largest Jewish youth organization in the Southern Hemisphere) organized by the High School Shluchos, Chefzi Gorman and Faygi Sufrin and their director, Miri Lipskier.
he girls were treated to a delicious dessert bar and slushies upon entry followed by a fascinating talk delivered by Rabbi Boruch Kaplan from Israel.
The girls also heard from Chabad Youth’s director, Moshe Kahn, about the incredible meaning behind printing Tanyas for the first time in Chabad Youth Melbourne and how special it is that they are a part of it.
The girls watched a meaningful video of the Rebbe on the importance of printing Tanyas in every place and then heard from one of the students about how she feels to be a part of this project.
Niggunim were played by the girls on their instruments and then with great excitement, the printing began and erupted in joyous song and dance.
Once the first Tanya had been printed, the girls learned from the first copy. The energy in the room was so strong and lasted for hours until the last Tanya was printed.
It was an amazing experience which the girls were so grateful to be a part of! As one of the students shared, “What a beautiful and holy event.”

Melbourne was so lucky! You’ll truly be missed
