I was very close with Hershy and his brother Izek z’l in the 80’s the amount of tzedokah they gave, the amount of food parcels they would drop at peoples front doors, was incredible, may both the Zellarmaire families be comforted and be blessed

Networking before the word was invented

Heshy, Isaac AH together with Mrs Marcus yblct worked tirelessly to help raise the spirits and material needs of the poor and downtrodden.
His tzedaka was discrete and unstintedly.
They scouted out the needs of others 40 years before the word networking was invented.
You could probably fill up this site with stories of Heshy and Isaac AH matan ba seter

He will be missed. I used to see him around the neighborhood quite often. He was always up for a little shmooze.
May his family be comforted with good memories of him.

A warm family man, always selflessly looking out for the needs of others. Nothing gave him more joy than making someone feel comfortable, cared for, and taken care of. He raised a wonderful family, who embody these virtues he instilled in them. צנצב’ה

May he be a meilitz yosher for us all in these difficult time. May the family have nechama and experience only simcha from now on. May they be reunited with this special man speedily אם ביאת גואל צדק בקרוב
