“Only once a mikva is built does a group get the status of a community.” – Code of Jewish Law.
By the end of this year there will be nearly 10 families iy”h living in the Canadensis community.
The new mikva will allow local women to fulfill this crucial mitzvah in a beautiful, serene, spa-like ambiance as well as the thousands of frum families who visit the Poconos annually.
The new complex will contain completely separate men’s and women’s mikvaos, both constructed to the highest possible halachic standards under the auspicious of Rabbi Treger of Mikva USA. We will also be installing a state-of-the-art heating, filtering, and ventilation system to keep the mikvaos warm and clean.
Once complete, this will be the only mikvah in over a 50-mile radius. This mikvah is vitally needed.
We have completed the actual Mikva, we now need your help to put up the building.
