Chof Menachem Av – fundraising campaign – KIBUD AV To honor the Rebbe – Respect his father!
Hundreds of Lubavitch Chasidim from around the world are gathered in Alma Ata, Kazakhstan, to mark the yartzeit of R’ Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, the Rebbe’s father, on 20 Av.
Every year at the farbrengen commemorating chof Menahem Av, the yahrzeit of the Rebbe’s father, Reb Levi Yitzcha Schneerson, the Rebbe made an appeal to donate charity in his father’s memory.
So too, this year you have an opportunity to partake in the Rebbe’s mitzvah of Kibud Av, to be a partner in reviving Yiddishkeit in the same place where Reb Levi Yitzchak sacrificed his life to perpetuate Torah and mitzvot, and thereby merit the Rebbe’s bountiful blessings: five hundred times more!
