A special and heartfelt celebration Farbrengen took place in honor of Rabbi Shmuel Arkush, head Shliach of Chabad Lubavitch of the Midlands, UK, who marked his 75th birthday at a surprise gathering surrounded by colleagues and community members.
The event brought together prominent Rabbanim and Shluchim from across the UK. Among those in attendance were members of the Hanhola of Lubavitch UK, including Rabbi Levi Sudak, Rabbi N.D. Dubov, and Rabbi Aryeh Sufrin, as well as Dayan Raskin.
They were joined by fellow Shluchim and Rabbanim, including Rabbi Shmuli Pink, Rabbi Mendy Lent, Rabbi Fishel, Rabbi A.M. Lipsey, and Rabbi Yossi Jacobs, who hosted the event.
Later in the evening, a large crowd from the Birmingham community joined the celebration, including former students of Rabbi Arkush as well as a group of his current students, reflecting the wide and lasting impact of his and his Rebbetzen’s decades of Shlichus.
Together with his Rebbetzin, Rabbi Arkush has been a true trailblazer, establishing and setting up Chabad branches throughout the Midlands including Solihull, Leicester and Nottingham.
Their dedication and vision have played a pivotal role in building Jewish life across the region and continue to shape and inspire countless individuals to this day.
The evening was filled with warmth, gratitude, and admiration, celebrating not only a milestone birthday but a lifetime of impactful shlichus.
