Have You Understood Today’s Tanya?

Making a living, takes hard work and dedication, so how can we be expected to give away our hard-earned money?

Of course, when we give Tzedakah, Hashem says we will get back tenfold, and we can test him on that.

But why is this Mitzvah allowed to be done conditionally?

These are some of the questions addressed in Perek 3 of the Alter Rebbe’s Igeres Hakodesh.

Of the 32 letters, 16 are about the Mitzvah of Tzedakah. The Alter Rebbe teaches us the practical as well as Kabbalistic aspects.
