Hatzalah of Crown Heights held their annual raffle event at the Jewish Children’s Museum Monday evening.
Members of the volunteer ambulance corps were honored for their dedication to the community.
Dr. John Marshall, of the Maimonides Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Department, spoke about prevention and treatment of summer emergencies such as heat stroke, lightning, bee stings and the like.
The winner of the $18,000 cash prize was Embart Corp of Crown Heights.
All who attended received a first aid kit.
