I wrote this song years ago – and it always stayed in the back of my mind. This song spans from this past week’s Parsha to after the Akeida – hammering in G-d’s promise to Avraham Avinu that our nation will grow and grow. Even when faced with the test to sacrifice his one and only son, the future of the Jewish people, Avraham did not hesitate and did not falter. We are proof that The Promise is still true to this day.

Music Director Yossi Shick had set up a meeting with Producer Motti Gantz and they met in Motti’s studio, between others Motti had showed him some newly created fresh musical pieces.

This one just came up by mistake, Motti pulls up this session and closed it right away, but Yossi refused to move away from that one and asked him to open that file again. Yossi listened to this piece of art and its concept and lyrics, and he right away burst out: “This one is mine”!
