A year since his tragic passing, the legacy of Rabbi Benny Wolff OBM is taking the form of brick and mortar with the inauguration of a new building for the Chabad center he established and directed.
Beis Binyomin will be the name of the large new building which will serve as the home base of Chabad in Hanover, Germany, allowing its many activities to take place and expand.
Since his passing at the age of 43 on Rosh Chodesh Iyar 5780, his wife Mrs. Shterna Wolff announced that she will be remaining on Shlichus with her 8 children and assuming the full-time role of director of Chabad in Hanover, a decision which has been described as heroic.
A few months later, she announced that Rabbi Avrohom Eliyahu and Chasya Naymark, a retired Chabad couple from Lod, Israel, will be moving to Germany to assist her with the activities.
On Thursday, a new Sefer Torah was completed in memory of Rabbi Wolff and it will be welcomed during the grand opening of the new center on Tuesday.
The event will be broadcast on COLlive.com on Tuesday.
