Some parents know this story all too well. Their son is a good boy, he wants to be in yeshiva, he wants to grow in learning and in chassidishkeit — but the schedule is too much, or he gets lost in a class of 30, or the pressure wears him down. Instead of looking forward to yeshiva, he dreads it.
HaMesivta was built for exactly these bochurim. And beginning this school year, HaMesivta is moving to Crown Heights.
At HaMesivta the setup is simple: small classes, about 10–12 boys, so no one gets lost. The day is shorter and more manageable, so the boys can focus without burning out. And rather than pushing and forcing, the approach is to inspire them so they actually want to grow.
The focus is not only on learning Torah, but on developing a love for Torah. The goal is that each boy should walk away not just knowing, but caring — with a real connection that will carry him through life.
“Not every bochur fits the big system,” said Rabbi Moshe Lieblich, director of HaMesivta. “We’ve seen how much can change when a boy is given the right environment.”
Registration is now open. Space is limited.

My sons being a alumni from this school, this is great news. Rabbi Liblach is very caring and by now has a lot of experience. Much hatzlacha to the school and students!
“Not every bochur fits the big system,” – true. But to be fair, the big system really doesn’t fit individual needs. In fact, as a famous Mechanech and author who speaks worldwide says- the system is actually built to meet 20% of the population. It’s a shame that the other bochurim are referred to as “these bochurim”…. The “other” ones.
