You know what a HUGE kiddush Hashem it was! A lot of Australians never knew what a bearded jew was, until the Rabbi came on board. They looked up to him for not coming to the football on shabbos and would even miss the grand-final day (usually on Yom Kippur) because of his Jewish faith. He put the word ‘shabbos’ on their lips. And not only that, but they saw that a bearded, hatted Jew is a normal, friendly, respectable member of society.

Let us not have small minds.
