The official go-ahead has been given to open the Guest Housing Complex on Carroll Street and Troy Avenue in Crown Heights for the upcoming Tishrei month of 5786.
Over the past few weeks, the “Guest Housing” team has been working hard to secure all the official permits required from New York City authorities, to make sure the housing complex can open for the hundreds of visiting bochurim who come to the Rebbe’s shul – 770 – for Tishrei.
After a meeting on Sunday between the complex management and the city’s Fire Department representatives, the final approvals came through – paving the way for the housing site to open once again this year, in a safe, legal, and well-organized manner.
This is the second year the Guest Housing Complex will be opening its doors for the Rebbe’s guests – providing proper and respectful accommodations, giving both peace of mind and comfort. This year, the complex is introducing significant upgrades and improvements, all with the goal of maximizing comfort, privacy, and a dignified stay for every bochur.
Full details coming soon.

Can we make this year-round with adjustments possible for separate rooms for the rest of the year. This would address issues with lodging throughout the year for out-of-town guests. You would have to charge such that residents who rent out spaces don’t lose out.
on these grounds with separate hours for men and women
it is so much needed, and it is the right size space-wise
