Despite some Covid restrictions still in place, more than 30 educators from all educational institutions in Moscow were able to gather for two full days for their summer mechanchim conference at the Jewish center in Zukowka.
The conference was initiated by the director of the institutions, Rabbi Yossi Lipsker, and was organized by the director of Cheder Menachem, Rabbi Avremi Gvirtz, and the steering and planning team from the other educational institutions.
The conference was filled with lectures and educational discussions and was focused on the subject of ‘the personal experience of each student’. The Shluchim educators enjoyed series of workshops with Rabbi Chaim Katz from Israel.
A guest speaker was Rabbi Chaim Shalom Deitsch, Rosh Kollel Tzemach Tzedek in Jerusalem and a known Chabad Mahspia who was in town for the wedding of his grandson.
Rabbi Deitsch presented uplifting shiurim and gave instructive advice in educating young people. He also led a farbrengen in the evening during which the participants received a variety of advice and instructions.
Praising their important work was Russia’s Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar who sat for a group photo with them.
