The children’s fair following the Lag B’Omer street parade, always a highlight of the day, will move this year to Troy Ave. and Maple St., parade organizers have announced.
The new location will provide additional room for the many rides, performers and food vendors that will feature at this year’s fair.
“This year’s fair will have more rides and more shows than any other year,” said Parade Organizer Shimon Hecht. “The new location will give us the space we need.”
Featuring for the first time at this year’s fair will be the Flippenout Extreme Trampoline Show, an acrobatic stunt show including 25-foot jumps, triple flips and twists, skis and snowboards—all from upon giant trampolines.
Also starring at this year’s fair will be a concert by Jewish singing great Shlomo Simcha, as well as a performance by the acclaimed Mitzvah Boulevard Puppets. A wide range of rides and food vendors will be available at the fair.
Tickets to the Great Parade can now be bought at www.thegreatparade.com. Parade tickets include a free t-shirt and access to the Parade fair.
do you have some friendswho are ready to volunteer? or they should just hire adults and increase the price of the tickets???????????
the public should be invited to share do-able ideas to improve logistics and organization/timing. sometimes simple, easy-to-implement ideas prove very helpful.
how about a better system for moving the lines while waiting for rides? having children be in charge on the lines dont work
Realistically….evey kid wants to go, what will it cost a single mom with 7 kiddies?
