Kosher food personality Jamie Geller will be celebrating the release of her new “Joy of Kosher Cookbook” in an exclusive evening of food and wine, fun and swag.
Published by William Morrow/HarperCollins, the book shares 200 ideas for fast, fresh family-friendly recipes, each with tips on how to dress them up for entertaining or dress them down for everyday meals.
She’s flying in from Israel to sign books during the launch party to take place at Millesime Brasserie of The Carlton Hotel, 92 Madison Avenue in New York City on Monday, October 21, 2013, 7:00-9:00 pm.
If looking at the gorgeous full-color photos in the cookbook won’t suffice, Geller will have new recipes on display for tasting. They will be prepared by Ari White from Gemstone Catering.
On the menu, besides for wine from Royal Wine Corp.: Cilantro Corn Cakes with Avocado Aioli, Pretzel-Crusted Chicken Skewers with Herbed Curry Mustard, Blackened Tilapia Wraps with Cumin Avocado Sauce and Apple Cabbage Slaw, Latkes with Caviar and “Cream” and Toasted Marshmallow Nutty Caramel Brownies.
Those dishing out $72 for entry, will receive a copy of the book and will be able to roam freely around at least 10 different pass-around hors d’oeuvres, sampling stations, desserts, and a wine and cocktail bar.
Guests will also receive a copy of the Chanukah issue of Joy of Kosher Magazine and fabulous products from the event sponsors – Mike & Ike, Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews, French’s, Sabra and more.
