Dovid sat in class, staring blankly at his book. The teacher’s voice faded into the background as he struggled to keep up. He had tried, really tried, but in a classroom of over 30 students, he felt invisible.
Whenever he raised his hand, the teacher was too busy. Whenever he didn’t understand something, the class moved on without him. Slowly, he stopped asking. He stopped trying. He convinced himself he just wasn’t smart enough.
His parents saw the frustration, the self-doubt, and the defeated look in his eyes. They knew something had to change.
Then they found Gan Academy.
From the very first week, everything was different. The small class sizes meant his teachers noticed him. They took the time to understand how he learned best. When he hesitated, they encouraged him instead of moving on.
Little by little, Dovid started speaking up. He asked questions. He participated. And for the first time, he believed in himself. His grades improved, but more importantly, so did his happiness. He no longer came home frustrated. He came home excited to share what he had learned.
Gan Academy changed Dovid’s life.
Now, we need your help to make sure other students like him get that same chance.
Thanks to an amazing group of parents, grandparents, and community members, we have already raised 7% of our $75,000 goal.
But if you haven’t given yet, will you help us move from 7% to 30% funded?
This is what your support makes possible:
A teacher who sees and believes in every child.
Small class sizes where no one is left behind.
A school where students truly belong.
Please help us give more children the gift of confidence, success, and self-belief.
Together, we are not just meeting goals. We are changing lives.
On Wednesday, March 19th, Gan Academy invites the Crown Heights community and friends around the world to invest in the chinuch of our children and give them the resources they need to blossom and bear fruit!
