An evening of inspiration which took place at the Bohemian National Hall in New York City celebrated the achievements of young Jews from across the city on Thursday night, January 29.
Besides for the star-studded lineup of guests, the evening was incredibly fitting considering the turbulent times we are living in as a community.
Young leaders were celebrated in different areas where they deserved distinction. Among the awardees was accountant extraordinaire Andy Weiss, entrepreneur Ethan Stein, PR maven Josh Nass, Ira Savetsky, Judy Yerurukhovich, David and Sabrina Montrose and Igor and Stephanie Biselman.
“We are amazed at the incredible feedback we have received from this year’s Jewish People’s Choice Awards,” said Rabbi Yosef Wilhelm of the Chabad Young Professionals, who led the evening with his wife Devorah.
“We have been inundated with calls already seeking out sponsorship opportunities for next year’s event. We intend on continuing in this very important tradition of celebrating the accomplishments of young members of our community.”
Attendees included Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Vice Chair of Merkos L’inyonei Chinuch; Rabbi and Rebbetzin Bentzion Krasiansky of Chabad of the Upper East Side, Hassidic music sensation Avraham Fried, City Councilman Ben Kallos and deputy consul general of Israel Amir Sagie.
He is the best!
