Superstar Israeli singer Gad Elbaz kicked off his L’Chaim World Tour on Sunday night at the historic King’s Theatre in Brooklyn, NY.
Elbaz rocked a full house with a show featuring a full choir, dancers, and a state-of-the-art light show. The evening attended by Jews of all stripes all coming together to celebrate great music and their favorite artists.
Other Israeli stars featured Subliminal, Alon Deloco, and Roy Edri, along with up-and-coming singer Yoni Z and Jamaican artist Semyon.
They were also joined on stage by the “Holocaust Survivor Band”. The show was musically produced by Gad Elbaz and programmed by DJ Jason Gold.
Show director Danny Finkelman said, “of all the events in the past that I was involved in, we’ve never seen such a rare mix of Jewish people. Adults and teenagers, who wouldn’t necessarily listen to Jewish music, Chasidim from Borough Park, Williamsburg, and Crown Heights, Russian Jews, Syrian Jews, Moroccan and Persian Jews, Litvish people from Flatbush, all united by their love of music.”
