Responding With Love
THE GREAT HEART IS SILENT
Rabbi Yisroel Zalmanovitz obm, a loving father and husband and a sterling educator, was known for his joyous manner. All those who encountered him were met with the magnificence of his caring and loving approach.
For the past two years, Rabbi Zalmanovitz bravely battled his deadly disease. Despite great suffering, he continued to radiate faith and joy to those who surrounded him. Last week, to the distress of his family and friends, he returned his soul to its Maker. He left behind a shocked and grieving family of 13 children, five of whom have not yet married.
Next week, with G-d’s help, will be the wedding of one of the orphans. We must take responsibility for the future of the bridegroom and his younger siblings.
In addition, during the period of his illness, medical expenses piled up, leaving the family in great debt.
This is our chance to return the love that shone forth from Rabbi Zalmanovitz.
We must take responsibility for his family and provide them with financial support, to ensure that all their needs are seen to.
The ‘Adopt a Family’ fund, in conjunction with Kolel Chabad of Tzfat, is campaigning for the family.
The campaign begins Sunday, 5th of Adar, and will continue for 36 hours.
Let’s all take part in reaching the goal of the campaign!
