For the Chabad community of France, it was a metaphorical stab to the heart when the news broke.
Rabbi Tzvi Dovber Pachter obm had returned his soul to Its creator, at the young age of 58.
Rabbi Pachter was a career educator, who dedicated every minute he had to his beloved students, spanning decades of young men and women across 3 prominent schools in France.
From Cheder boys in the illustrious Yeshiva of Brunoy, to bochurim in the Yeshiva of Vincennes and high school girls at Sinai, he left behind a legacy of proud, men women and children in whom he instilled a deep love for Yiddishkeit and Yiras Shamayim.
Rabbi Pachter was never too busy for his students, and would spend hours upon hours caring for and tending to the individual needs of his students, often on his own time!
His impact was real. Rabbi Pachter hailed from a family of career educators, and played a massive role in the infusion of Jewish pride and joy with which the broader Jewish French community has always been synonymous.
To his family, he was everything. To his wife and 8 children, the youngest being just 11 years old, he was their entire world.
Now, the family must carry on, and pick up the pieces of their lives, now devastated and broken.
Imagine, 8 yesomim, with seemingly nobody to care for them!
Klal Yisroel are truly interconnected on a deep level, and when one of us suffers, we all suffer.
When one of us is in pain, we all feel it.
When one of us is in a crisis, we all must step up.
Today, you have the chance to ease, at the very least, a great financial burden from the shoulders of the Pachter family, and show the Almighty that his children are truly united, and care for one another.
HaShem does not remain indebted, and the well-being of widows and orphans is always on His mind.

May hashem protect you and yours in this incredible merit.
