Over 100 children and teenagers attended the Yud Alef Nissan Rally and Learning program at the Tzemach Tzedek Community Centre in Sydney, Australia.
The program started with everyone davening and then reciting of the new Kapital in Tehillim said in honor of the Rebbe’s 112th birthday.
The younger groups did a special Arts and Crafts that including pasting a picture of the Rebbe on a Mitzvah Tank and then surrounding it with some of the 10 Mivtzoim.
12 pesukim were said by Levi Yitzchak Althaus, Ariel Moss, Brocha Amzalak, JJ Raskin, Kovi Kluwgant, Sara Chana Straiton, Shira Dadon, Liorah Kessel, Laila Feiglin, Yossi Bleier, Shmulli Bleier, Laila Feiglin, Miriam Lazarus, Mendy Bklasenstein, Ephraim Wolf, Kovi Gestetner, Meir Berkovitz, Aryeh Amzalak and Bentzion Sufrin.
The Rebbe’s new Kapital was said followed by singing of Keli Atoh. Then the highlight was the reading of the Pan by Kobi Berkovits on behalf of all the Chayolim of Sydney. Mendy Blasenstein recited some Mishnayos Paal Peh for the occasion.
A special mention goes to Rabbi Yehuda Straiton and his team (Rochy Amzalak, Batsheva Berkovits, Shaina Krinsky, Moishe Amzalak, Mendel Chaiton, Menachem Straiton, Mendel Spielman, Raizel Straiton, Faigy Blasenstein and Rivka Gourarie) for arranging the most amazing Yud Alef Nissan Children’s rally ever.
Every child was presented with a special gift ( a bottle of grape juice and a key-ring with a picture of the Rebbe) and in return they made a hachlota to increase in certain mitzvos for the Rebbe birthday.
The children gathered together to sing a special Happy Birthday around a special cake made for the rally and thank you to Sender Kavka and Tova Moss for assisting throughout the Rally.
There was even a guest, musician Chony Milecki from Crown Heights who returned to his native Australia for Pesach. He was honored with drawing the raffle.
Thanks was given to Rabbi Yaakov Chaiton for giving the shiur for the Teenage boys following a special breakfast. Thank you to Mendy Amzalak for the flyers and photography.
On Thursday night a farbrengen was held at Tzemach Tzedek following Maariv, led by Rabbi Avrohom Perlow and Rabbi Moshe Gutnick for farbrenging.

Rabbi Straiton is the Rebbes man in Sydney. A real Rohdesian warrior. May hashem give him long life full of chassidishe nachas. Zev Simons would have been so proud, and I’m sure smiling as he watched you in action.
