A frum Jewish man was stabbed in the face and lightly injured in a suspected terror attack Tuesday south of Jerusalem, medics told Times of Israel.
The attack was said to have occurred near the bypass tunnel next to the Palestinian town of Beit Jala, northwest of Bethlehem, the website reported.
The attacker was said to be an Arab man. Footage from the scene shows the Jewish man walking out of a building and the Arab attacked him with a sharp object.
Israel’s Border Police officers began sweeping the area after the suspected stabber fled the scene of the attack. “The motive for the attack is being investigated,” a Border Police spokesperson said.
The 30-year-old victim was treated on the scene by medics from the Magen David Adom ambulance service and the Israel Defense Forces, who worked to stop the bleeding and bandage his wounds.
He was then transported to Jerusalem’s Hadassah Hospital Ein Kerem, an MDA spokesperson said.

Whether frum or not the fact is the land is the land. If we don’t attack for ourselves then no one will stand for us when we can’t attack anymore.
And no connection to CH. What happens here is another circumstance altogether. We need to unite. Then the land will be ours again. Not that that is what we aren’t going to do already!

I completely agree, it doesn’t matter frum or not. It doesn’t need to say that it was a frum Jew in the title, that could be in the artical itself. The fact that any Jew is being hurt and/or tormented is not okay.

After every attack on Jews by Arabs, there should be a penalty, like building additional streets in disputed territory. Collective or group punishment is necessary when the crime is collective in nature or by one group against another. Such a “land penalty” might discourage future attacks by one group against another groups since the individual wasn’t targeted, it’s the group which this individual belongs to. Why does it matter if he was frum or not? We just mourned Jewish victims in Pittsburgh who were not observant Jews. The man was a Yid. That’s all the headline should say. Leave out the frum part.
