The TorahVR team is revolutionizing the way people experience the Beis HaMikdash with their immersive and interactive virtual reality experience.
Over the past few weeks, the team has brought their innovative experience to over 3,000 students in four different cities. Students from Miami and Los Angeles to Phoenix and Houston were enthralled by the chance to walk around the Beis Hamikdash, learn about every aspect of it and meet Kohanim and Levi’im in the midst of their holy service.
Through the use of TorahVR technology, students are transported back in time to experience the practical mitzvos in a way that was previously impossible, giving them a deeper understanding of the history and significance of this important tenet of Judaism.
The TorahVR team has received high praise from students and educators alike. Many students have reported that the MikDash experience has made the Beis HaMikdash come to life for them in a way that they have never experienced before.
Educators have noted that MikDash has provided students with a deeper understanding of the temple and has helped to engage them in learning in a way that was not possible with traditional methods.
After 235 students from his school experienced TorahVR, Rabbi Yakov Garfinkel, Principal of LEC in Miami, FL said, “Yisro was the first kinesthetic teacher. The Torah would not have been given without him! TorahVR has taken that very approach to bring learning, teaching, education, and inspiration to the next level. Yasher Koach to them for their efforts, and we look forward to welcoming them to the Lubavitch Educational Center Middle and High School.”
The team’s success in bringing MikDash, just the first of their many offerings, to over 7,000 students is a testament to the power of technology to revolutionize the way we learn and experience the Torah.
Mrs. Adi Barel, the Associate Director Of Jewish Studies at Bialik Hebrew Day School in Toronto, was elated by the experience saying, “Thank you for a wonderful experiential learning opportunity for our students! The TorahVR team was nothing but professional, and made the learning exciting and meaningful for our students and staff alike.”
TorahVR potential to make a significant impact on the way we teach and learn about the Judaism, and could serve as a model for similar projects in other fields.
“We highly recommend Torah VR to any school or organization looking for a dynamic and educational experience,” shared Rabbi Levi Druin, Principal of Pardes Day School in Florida.”The use of technology in this educational experience was truly innovative, and it allowed the students to fully engage with the material in a way that would have been impossible through traditional methods.”
Evidently, TorahVR is a valuable tool for educators and students alike and has the potential to make a significant impact on the way we learn Torah for generations to come.
The TorahVR team is on their way to Chicago this week to invite another thousand students into the Beis Hamikdash!
