Motti Katz was a vibrant and joyful 18-year-old Lubavitcher Mesivta bochur, known for his kindness, sense of humor, and passion for learning. Tragically, around 18 months ago, he was diagnosed with cancer.
Despite his courageous battle and initial victory over the illness, it returned with a fierce intensity, ultimately claiming his life on 7 Av, just over a week ago.
Motti had a deep love for reaching out to his fellow Jews through Mivtzoyim, creating meaningful connections wherever he could. In honor of his incredible spirit and dedication, his friends have chosen to create a Mitzvah Tank in his memory, a tangible way to continue his legacy of kindness and outreach.
This Mitzvah Tank will serve the community on Lincoln Rd in Miami Beach and at other locations throughout South Florida.
We invite you to join us in making Motti’s dream a reality. Our goal is to raise $125,000 to bring this Mitzvah Tank to life, ensuring that Motti’s beautiful soul continues to inspire and uplift others. Together, let’s honor his memory through this important initiative and truly make a difference in the world.
