A number of honorable Cabinet and distinguished leaders in the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee were recently visited by Rabbi Schneur and Chanie Oirechman, Executive Directors of Chabad of Tallahassee and Florida State University.
The visits were coordinated in honor of the holiday of Purim, sharing the message of the Purim story, of Hashem’s involvement in every detail of our lives, along with a book about this message.
To share the holiday spirit, Rabbi Schneur and Chanie Oirechman handed out Hamantaschen to share the taste of the Holiday as well.
They also distributed copies of the book, “Stairway to Serenity,” written by Robert Kremnizer, on how to navigate the complexities of modern life and discover the path to genuine happiness.
Among those visited were members of the state cabinet, CFO of Florida Jimmy Patronis, Commissioner of Agriculture Walter Simpson and Attorney General Ashley Moody.
Additionally heads of state agencies were visited, including FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass, Secretary of Commerce Alex Kelly and FSU President Bill McCullough.
At these visits the state leaders shared their unwavering support for Israel and their commitment to fight Antisemitism and protect the Jewish community in Florida.
The state leaders thanked the Rabbi and his wife for their work and for always being here for them and sharing the message of the Holiday with them.
