I hope COL will have the courage to post this response because it is the truth

Many Rabbis names were added to this letter that never read it & do not agree with what it says.
Miami is the most dysfunctional from community on the planet
Creating tremendous sinas chinam & anti-semitism

Please know that this is completely false

Any rabbi that did not sign should speak up.

But no one did!!

(And you my friend are anonymous “shaliach”!)

No one tweeted, no one posted, no one sent a complaint.

That tells us, that YOU are just trying to create a fight and protest against a letter that has everyone’s name on it.

I believe the letter and disbelieve you.

Why should rabbis not be involved in pikuach nefesh?-Not politics or other private agendas you may have-It always baffles me how some will always have a crooked view on all matters.

I sure hope there can at least be minyanim shifts to hear Aseres Hadibros on shavuos like busy ohel style. Ten people in, Aseres Hadibros, ten people out, repeat.

Thank you!

Medical Opinions by a Rabbi?
May 9, 2020 11:22 pm

Rabbis and Doctors don’t mix. Each have different experience, different expertesse, and different qualifications.

The Torah only empowers doctors to offer a medical oppinions and not to Rabbi’s.

Safety it the lack of it is strictly a medical oppinions and isn’t the the role of neither Politicians nor Rabbonim.

Each should stick to their respective expertesse.

Or else everyone looses respect for them all.

So doctors and rabbonim should never communicate?
Good one

Torah Says that Doctors decide if it's Pikuach Nef

According to the Torah doctors decide if a situation is dangerouse or not.

Rabbis then decide the Halacha only.

And each one must indicate his basis for his decissions Meheichan Dantuny.

The Rebbe mentioned this multiple times yet Rabbi’s most often tend to oimit their reasoning, proof and basis for their Psak, which is the opposit of the Rebbe’s request countless times.

Rabbis and doctors mix just fine

The Rambam was a doctor. Most Rabbonim are not

Anyone thinks that a Rabbi is qualified to make health determinations even if he isn’t a medical doctor? Next time your child has an ear infection, will you bring the child to the Rabbi or to Doctor be checked out? And when you have a Shaalah if the chicken is Kosher will you call the Doctor or the Rabbi? The Rebbe spoke about this differentiation countless times, when Rabbi’s in Israel permited giving back land to the Arabs because they concluded that it was not Pikuach Nefesh. The Rebbe then criticised those Rabbi’s in Israel because the determination of Pikuach… Read more »

Can you proudly notify us which community had these minyanim going on?
As well as the Drs or a doctor who gave the go ahead ?

I’m a signer and am proud to have done so. I completely support the declaration. I’m proud that shluchim and rabbis in FL are being prudent and careful. Those with their personal agendas don’t matter to me. Neither does politics. I’ve nothing to gain or lose other than lives at stake. And I’ll always take the safer path when it comes to my community and fellow Jews. Soon we’ll be coming out with more details for the next phase and on. It too will hopefully be a guide to saving lives and ensuring a safe transition to a full and… Read more »

Crossing the line
May 10, 2020 9:36 am

What we are witnessing today across America is a revolt and a rebellion against governmental authority when the public realises that their excessive quaranteen control, is unjustified. This is predicted to happen before Moshiach comes as our sages sat that Nearing Pney Zkeinim Yalbinu and the Rebbe explains that this Chutzpah is actually a good thing because it helps expose the hidden corruption and hidden injustice so that it can be rectified. In just about every state in the USA Governors are calling the shots about excessive quaranteen and the public sees right through it and we see the public… Read more »

The rabbis are simply meeting with and backing a decision made by physicians and experts in the field as halacha clearly says that you need to hear from experts to properly assess the situation.

We have to ask this
May 10, 2020 12:44 pm

So these rabbanim, and many others like them in various places, are putting out one kol korei after another about how pikuach nefesh demands that shuls stay shut down, etc., because you can’t take the chance on even one life. (Though one wonders why, for example, they’ve never come out with similar proclamations to the effect that people shouldn’t drive, fly, swim, etc., all of which activities pose a nonzero risk too.) But has even one of them worked to explain to the public the importance of (in normal times) davening with a minyan?! Because you’ve got people – you… Read more »
