Cheder Chabad Florida marked Lag Baomer with a vibrant community celebration that brought together students, families, and staff for a day full of energy and Simcha.
The event began with a rally of Torah, Tefillah, and Tzedakah, featuring music by Chony Teitelbaum and singing by Aryeh Leib Hurwitz, along with an exciting acrobat show. Some of the talented Cheder children also took part in the performance. The program was led by Rabbi Zash Itkin, who coordinated the event together with Yossi Hirsch and Rabbi Yehuda Matusof. The Lebedike spirit of the rally led to spontaneous dancing.
Following the rally, students and families paraded through the streets with a police escort. The Cheder Marching Band led the way, followed by mini-floats and banners made by each class, and a special Upsherinish float.
After the parade, families enjoyed a fair with rides and a BBQ on Cheder’s beautiful campus. The entire day reflected the energy and warmth that define the Cheder Chabad Florida community.
