The Mesivta of the Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh began the new school year with parent-student orientation, great learning, Mivtzoim, and some baseball and sports during their breaks.
Recently celebrating its 75th year, with Rabbi Yisroel Rosenfeld as the Executive Director of Chabad of Western Pennsylvania, the students are able to learn, enjoy friendships, and gain in skills, Chassidishkeit, Ahavas Yisroel, and continuously strive higher.
Rabbi Eliezer Shusterman, the Menahel of the Mesivta, is coordinating the learning and activities schedules, communicating with parents, students, and teachers, and arranging numerous programs, trips, and events for the coming year.
The Yeshiva School Mesivta Boys High-School of Pittsburgh has a dorm for the students who are from out-of-town, three meals per day, Shabbos minyanim, meals, programs, and scheduled times for recreational activities.
Rabbi Yossi Rosenblum, Educational Director of Yeshiva Schools, works regularly alongside all school administrators.
“Thank you to R’ Mendel Goldwasser, the five Shluchim, the Judaic and General Studies Teaching staff, and all of the parents and students for a wonderful start to this year,” Rabbi Shusterman said.

The school is most definitely a point of pride for the Pittsburgh Community. Let’s make sure to high light the incredible work that the GS Principal, Mrs. Mindy Small, has demonstrated over many years. Her dedication and efforts on behalf of our children is commendable.
