A Tanya was printed for the first time today in Izmir, Turkey, by Shluchim Yisachar Aaron and Tamar Izak.
The Tanya was printed on the auspicious day of Chai Elul in memory of slain Mumbai Shluchim Rabbi Gavriel Noach and Rivkah Holtzberg OBM and in honor of Rivka Jamila and Gavriel Noach Chai Izak.
The Izak family and their five children have been Shluchim in Izmir for 6 years, working with great dedication for the local Jewish community.
“It was our dream for many years to print a Tanya here, and the dream finally came true today,” Tamar Izak told COLlive.
