A large fire broke out on Troy Avenue near Empire Boulevard in Crown Heights on Thursday evening.
Flames poured out of a 1st-floor apartment of the 6 story building at around 7:15 pm, and quickly spread to apartments above and near it, bystanders told COLlive.
Main thoroughfare Empire Boulevard is closed to traffic, and firefighters were still battling the blaze at 8:00 pm.
2 people have been injured in the blaze, sources said.
