After 3 years of the Flatbush Lag B’Omer Parade being scaled down due to restrictions, it was back this year better than ever.
What a joy to see Yiddishe Kinderlach march through the streets of Brooklyn proudly carrying signs of “I am proud to be a Jew” lighting up a dark world.
Bochurim dressed up as clowns created a festive atmosphere along with the boys drumming band all the way from Ave K down to Ave N, led a by a cavalry of NYPD horses.
HaRav Moshe Tuvia Lieff graced the event with his words of Torah. HaRav Yoseph Vigler explained to the children the significance of Simcha and how it can overcome all barriers.
Thousands of children watched a skit on Rashbi and were entertained with all the fun and excitement. And of course with the fire of Rashbi burning in their lives forever and lighting up the world.
