Students of Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh joined with their fathers for a father-son learning and awards event last Sunday.
The crowd of about 180 people first enjoyed a hot buffet breakfast, followed by father and son learning.
Menahel Rabbi Yossi Rosenblum MC’d the event, and greetings were given by Pittsburgh Head Shliach Rabbi Yisroel Rosenfeld.
The highlight was an awards ceremony, at which Seforim were distributed by the school’s Tzivos Hashem organizer Chaim Zippel, to the students who learned and were tested on lines of Torah Baal Peh during the “Baal Peh Mivtza” in honor of Yud Alef Nissan.
The Mivtza and event were run by Eli Barber and Chaim Zippel, the Tzivos Hashem organizers at Yeshiva Schools of Pittsburgh Boys school.
