A young father from the community was recently diagnosed with a serious condition, requiring urgent surgery to save his life. To compound the medical concerns, the family is facing a financial crisis: this surgery is extremely costly, and is not covered by insurance. What’s more, the father—the family’s breadwinner—is unable to work, and months of expensive therapy and outpatient treatments loom ahead before the family will have their father back in good health, IYH. His wife and five young children are davening for his recovery, hopeful that kind friends will step in to ensure this surgery can take place.
