7 Adar I is the Yartzeit of R’ Betzalel Jacobson obm, a Chosid and beloved father and grandfather who passed away on this date in 2013.
He was a Chossid who was dedicated to Torah, Chassidus and Mitzvos, who was known for his exemplary humility, kindness, and respect for others. He was known as a “penimi,” someone who chose to devote himself to self-refinement.
Today, the family gathered on his yartzeit, to celebrate the growth of his family with the birth of a great-grandchild, to Menachem Mendel and Esther Leiter (nee Jacobson) of Crown Heights.
The bris, held at Ulam Chana Hall, had an emotional turn when the child was named Shmuel Betzalel after his great-grandfather on the day of his Yartzeit.
Family and friends wished Mazel Tov to the parents, and grandparents R’ Yerachmeal and Rivkah Leah Jacobson and R’ Shimon and Yehudis Leiter, and wished that the newborn boy follow in the ways of his great-grandfather.

The little prince is named for a few very special grandfathers. BH. He carries the name Shmuel after his illustrious great-great grandfather Reb Shmuel (Pesach) Bogomilsky.
Reb Moshe Bogomilsky is the boys zayde.
Reb Samuel pesach is Reb Moshes brother.
Rabbi Shmuel pesach Bogomilsky is R Moshe’s father. He also has a brother named after his father.
Mazal Tov Yerachmeal and Rivka and to the whole family!! May he be a source of nachas and illumination like his Zaide Reb Shmuel Betzalel.
What a Zchus!
Rov Nachas!
