A special three-day learning event is taking place this week at Evergreen Estates in the Catskills, offering women a unique opportunity to explore the deep and practical wisdom of Chassidus.
As part of the annual Nine Days learning event at Evergreen, Mrs. Chaya Chitrik, a talented educator and Shlucha, presenting a powerful and condensed version of the acclaimed JLI “Soul Maps” course.
Based on the foundational teachings of the Tanya, the six-part course has been adapted into a three-day immersive series, with each class spanning two hours of engaging, relevant, and transformative learning.
The classes begin Monday and Tuesday morning at the home of Mrs. Leah Dashevsky (Unit A-10). On Wednesday, the final session will take place in the Evergreen Shul with the popular Lunch and Learn format, including time for questions and discussion over a beautiful lunch.
All women are welcome to join the annual learning event, which was established and continues to be hosted by Tamar Pewzner in honor of the birthdays or her parents and herself which take place during the Nine Days.
“Each class stands on its own,” shared organizer Tamar Pewzner, “but together they form a powerful journey into the Tanya’s life-changing perspective. It’s about time we truly connected to its timeless wisdom in a relevant and instructive way.”
The series promises to leave attendees inspired and spiritually enriched—just in time for the Nine Days.
Dedicated in memory of Sima bas Mordechai hakohen, who originally started the series of JLI learning in Crown Heights.
