This past Sunday, over 300 friends and supporters of Bais Rivkah gathered together in true Hakhel fashion, for an evening of support, music, and celebration of Bais Rivkah, the flagship school for Chabad girl schools.
The event took place at the conclusion of the week-long fundraising campaign – Level Up Bais Rivkah, which saw over $3 Million raised from over 1,300 donors worldwide.
Catered by Table One Catering, each table and the hall was adorned by the talented event designer Chani Greenbaum with beautiful tributes to Bais Rivkah, including a shareholder report of some incredible developments and recent progress Bais Rivkah has experienced over the past several years.
Master of Ceremonies Rabbi Asher Jacobson, from Anshei Chevra Kadisha Montreal Canada led the crowd on a journey throughout the evening, with entertainment, encouragement and inspiration.
Music by the beloved Avraham Fried and the Zmiros Choir kept the energy and spirits high.
Guests were treated to a video presentation and sneak peek into the future home of Bais Rivkah Seminary, a beautiful new building, and bold new undertaking to vastly expand the ever-growing school.
Each guest was also gifted a beautiful personalized leather Afikoman bag for the upcoming Yom Tov of Pesach.
As the night progressed, the entire community was invited to join for a lavish dessert bar and lounge where supporters were able to mingle with the board members and friends to discuss ideas of how to further enhance the school. Avraham Fried and guest stars Boruch Sholom and Mendy J lit up the stage, and we sang danced, and celebrated. The evening was truly magical. The event went overtime as people continued to donate and sing together.
Many guests and supporters made generous pledges and helped Bais Rivkah bridge the gap to reach their $3 Million goal, and TOGETHER, the goal was achieved.
We want to thank each and every community member who supported our campaign. We would like to acknowledge our students who got involved to make this campaign successful, and our dedicated staff members of our school for contributing in every way possible.
Bais Rivkah would like to recognize Yerachmeal and Rivkah Leah Jacobson for their pledge of $1,000,000 dollars for the upcoming seminary building, as well as Rabbi Shloimy Greenwald for his pledge of $500,000 dollars which were the significant contributions enabling us to reach the goal of 3 million dollars!
