In honor of Chai Elul, the birthdays of the Alter Rebbe and Baal Shem Tov, Irgun Torah organized an Evening of Nigunim, l’chaim, Inspiration and Art on Tuesday in Crown Heights.
The upliting evening featured music by Benshimon and Avi Piamenta, with singers Shmuly Hurwitz and YD Shmueli as well as the Ohr Menachem Kapelye Choir.
Speakers included Rabbi Benzion Krasnianski and Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz.
The event also featured a Display of Chassidic Art paintings and prints by Lechaim Art Gallery, Celebrating Jewish Life.
Seforim of the Alter Rebbe, the baal shem tov, and sifrei Chassidus in English & Hebrew were available at the event at discounted pricing.
