For the first time, Flatbush – a center of the Yeshivish world in the U.S. – is hosting a grand Chassidic Farbrengen in honor if 19 Kislev, the “Rosh Hashana of Chassidus.”
The guest speaker is world renowned teacher Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Jacobson, spiritual leader of Congregation Bais Shmuel in Crown Heights.
The Farbrengen is taking place now at the Veretzky Hall, Ave. L near Coney Island.
It will also being broadcast live on COLlive.com via TheYeshiva.net.
Rabbi Jacobson was unbelievable indeed, but lets not forget the people that organized it all Rabbi Dovie Chein and Rabbi Yochanan Morozov Shluchim in Flatbush a big yashar koach
…. while CH is the central location of Lubavitch in NY (and indeed, the world) — and there are many of us who would travel to CH for such an event — there are those who wouldn’t. THEY are the ones we need to reach, and reach them we did. I was in attendance last night (far flung friends can testify to it – they saw me on the webcast) and was thrilled to see not only Temimim and the less affiliated Jews who Lubavitch normally attract, but also frum Yidden of all walks of life. As to the video… Read more »
I TUNED INTO THE LIVE FARBRENGEN, AND EVEN REFERRED OTHERS FROM FLATBUS TO DO THE SAME. AS MUCH AS I IMMENSELY ENJOYED THE FARBRENGEN I WAS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATED BY THE FACT THAT IT KEPT FREEZING EVERY FEW MINUTES.
amazing farbrengen yasher koach rabbi jacobson for the energy provided!
The most inspiring event that Flatbush ever had.
To #20. Indeed. Why didn’t someone come forth and make the humongous arrangements for this event in C.H.? No competion, Flatbush and CH. I was privileged to be there. I have no words to describe the spiritual high and simchah in the hall, which was packed to the rafters. Rabbi Jacobson never ceases to astound me, and tonight went one step further. It was an authentic Chassidshe farbrengen. At the end all the men (of all stripes) danced and sang together. There was a full meal – the webcast itself, the hall. And no charge for any of it. Yasher… Read more »

By me the broadcast first lost the sound for a few minutes toward the end of the discussion of Yehudah and Tamar, then at 1:06:16 it got stuck and hasn’t continued. I hope you will at least archive it so others in the same situation can watch at a later time.
