Chana Shira Malka, a Machon Chana alumna and mother of three young children, has been suffering from a terrible illness that requires specific medical treatments not covered by insurance. She desperately wants to live and raise her children, but does not have the money to pay for her family’s basic expenses, much less the treatments that will give her a solid chance to heal.
Last year her husband left her with sole responsibility to care for herself and their children, physically, emotionally and financially. Then, her father passed away a couple of months ago, leaving her mother to put aside her own tremendous loss and move into her daughter’s home to care for the children.
This family is suffering unbearably.
